Brad Pitt has officially signed on to star in “Inglorious Bastards,” Quentin Tarantino’s latest opus.
It’s technically a remake of a 70s B-movie (which, was, in fact, a rip-off of “The Dirty Dozen”).
Tarantino is carrying on a tradition he started — looks like the has-been star getting a second chance at coolness is 80s-era actress Nastassja Kinski.
Tarantino, after keeping today’s “Transformers was a great movie” crowd away from “Grindhouse,” apparently is not planning to make ‘Inglorious Bastards’ anymore accessible to the masses.
“Much of the pic’s dialogue is in French or German, and subtitles will be used,” according to an article in Variety, “though Pitt will speak English in his role as a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of eight Jewish-American soldiers to take on the Nazis.”
