“I Sell the Dead,” the horror/comedy from writer director Glenn McQuaid, will open the 15th Annual Slamdance Film Fest Jan. 15, according to Mike Gingold of Fangoria.
The Slamdance Film Festival is the biggest indie film fest there is.
“I Sell the Dead” is an indie flick from Larry (Glass Eye Pix) Fessenden’s Scareflix division.
It stars Fessenden, Dominic (“Lost”) Monaghan, Angus (“Phantasm) Scrimm and Ron (“Hellboy”) Perlman.
It also features the special effects make-up of work of G&S Effects, based right over the Conn. border in Somers, N.Y.
(Full disclosure: I’m friends with G&S founders Brian Spears and Pete Gerner)
