“I Sell the Dead,” an indie horror comedy that’s been getting solid reviews, has its first New York City screening Monday night at the IFC Center.
It’s mostly a cast and screw screening and it has been sold out for weeks.
Luckily, the special effects make-up guys G&S Effects scored me a ticket, so I’m psyched to be going.
The producers, Glass Eye Pix, are out of Brooklyn and the flick has, amazingly, Staten Island stand in for Ireland.
Fango has a long interview with actor/producer Larry Fessenden and director Glen McQuaid on its Web site.
The movie stars Dominic “Lord of the Rings” Monaghan, Ron “Hellboy” Pearlman and Angus “Phantasm” Scrimm.
