“Let the Right One In,” a horror film that I’m dying to see, recently hit DVD.

It’s one of them foreign films, so it has those annoying subtitles — but it’s supposedly the best movie of 2008.

Anyway, horror movie fanatic Rob G. over at Icons of Fright noticed something interesting last night — the American subtitles on the DVD are actually dumbed down from the American theatrical release.

It’s fascinating stuff.
